Scott Hanselman is again doing the Diabetes Walk, and this year is stepping up his goal to $50,000, go ahead and help him meet the goal. To the Salesforce.com folks out there, remember that they'll match your contribution, and I'm sure many other employers do as well, an easy way to make your money go twice as far. |

I just posted an updated SoqlXplorer, as well as the spiffy new Icon (Thanks to the ADN crew for that), you can now edit data inline in the query results, just double click on the cell and punch in the new value. You'll only be able to do this if your query include the Id column. I also put together a page to list all my Salesforce.com / OSX stuff in a single place. Feel free to post any feedback to the OSX forum at successforce, enjoy. |

Sulawesi Toraja |
Yikes, Its been quite a while since I last roasted , I fired up the iRoast this weekend, and roasted a batch of Sulawesi Toraja, it didn't turn out quite as consistent as i'd liked. I tied it in a cup of drip today, and it was quite drinkable, but kinda flat, based on the Sweet Maria's blurb, I think next time I need to let it get to 2nd crack. Today, I tried making my own blend, 50% of the Sulawesi Toraja and 50% Ethiopian dry processed Ghimbi, which should add some good aromatics and more of an earthy / chocolatey flavor. I let this one run longer than yesterdays batch, and the resulting roast looks more consistent, will find out in the week how it tastes. |

I just posted an update to Maildrop, it has a couple of bug fixes along with some new features.
- Can now create leads in addition to contacts from the add email page, the add lead/contact buttons are now much more obvious.
- The Add Email dialog is reset between emails, it no longer defaults to the last email's selections.
- Malformed search error with email addresses containing dashes is fixed.
- New menu item to reinstall the scripts (under help), and error reporting when the script install fails.
- New application icon and updated help. (Thanks to the ADN crew for getting me some better icons than my rather poor attempts)

Paul Fremantle has a post titled the devil is in the details, where he discussed interop issues around wrapped vs unwrapped WSDLs. Unfortunately that's totally missing the point, Why on earth should the service provider get to dictate to me what programming model i want to use? why do the tools insist on trying to divine a programming model from the WSDL, when it should be the programmers choice!, give me a switch in WSDL2Java or wsdl.exe that says generate me a wrapper or unwrapped stub.

Maildrop is kicking some serious butt, and sits pretty at the top of the AppExchange top 10. And now Trapdoor has snuck in at spot 10, giving me 2 of the top 10 AppExchange apps, world domination here i come :) |
